I’ve been awarded a full scholarship to learn how to sculpt using handmade paper at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Penland School of Crafts’ workshop program presents me with a wonderful opportunity to totally immerse myself in an exchange of vital information about materials, technique, ideas and process.
The workshop offers me a transformative opportunity to expand and develop my arts practice under the tutelage of internationally renowned fibre/handmade paper artist and university lecturer, Jo Stealey.
I’m hoping to raise funds to cover my airfares through a Pozible campaign. Please have a look at my video and support/share if you like what you see. The campaign ends 17 July 2014.
